The company Wimmer - Holz "WIHO" in Kuchl (close to Salzburg) was founded in 1957 by KR Rupert Wimmer (+2000) and has experienced a continuous and steady growth ever since then. Today we can look back at a tradition of 50 years. During these 50 years, we specialised in quality lumber production, kiln drying and steaming domestic hardwood species like beech, maple, oak and ash. In 1992 a lumber and wood retail centre was built including a fully air conditioned storage capacity of more than 1000 square metres on two floors. In 2001 the company was expanded and now - through state-of-the-art technology - rough lumber can be formatted into semi-finished products for e.g. furniture, tools, flooring, ceiling, decking. Special dimensions, square edged, dressed (surfaced) can be provided without a problem!
