In over 50 years of company history we have specialized on processing domestic hardwoods. Today, with a proportion of 80% of the annual production, European beech is our most common species. Annually, up to 20.000 m3 round wood are processed. The entire raw material (round wood) originates from PEFC certified sources (sustainable forests). Furthermore, 90% of our logs are harvested in winter at times when no sap flow occurs. In our company "WINTERWOOD" has been a tradition for the past 40 years! Our hardwood species are maple, birch, pear tree, beech natural, neach steamed, oak, ash, cherry, basswood, walnut, elm. Steamed versions are available of beech, elm, pear tree and cherry. Colour-sensitive species (f.e. maple) are piled using special sticks, which avoid sticker stains. One of the strengths of our company is the uniform colour of the lumber. The lumber is offered kiln dried, air-dried or fresh. Kiln-dried lumber is stored in air-conditioned halls before it is shipped.
